Software Preparation

You can download the Windows distribution from the website at https://download.vinteo.com/VinteoClient/

You can download and install the Vinteo Desktop application from the Mac App Store: Vinteo Desktop

If you click on the application icon, you will be able to choose the application language in the settings at the top of the screen. Click the “Install” button.

Then open the application.

Next, click OK and allow the application access to the camera and microphone.

Configure the connection: in the “Connection address” field, enter the server address, and in the “Displayed name” field, enter the user name. You can enable the authorization checkbox or make anonymous calls in the conference.

Windows

1. Double-click the downloaded file with the .exe extension with the left mouse button.

2. Wait for the application installation to complete.

3. After successful installation, click the “Finish” button.

Silent Installation Keys

Run the installer with administrator privileges using the following keys: VinteoDesktop.exe /S (/S must be capital)

Linux

1. Right-click the downloaded file with the *.Appimage extension.

2. The application properties window will open. Check the checkbox to allow installation.

3. Close the window and right-click the application again.

4. In the installation wizard that appears, click the “Yes” button.

5. Run Vinteo Desktop.

MacOS

1. Before starting the installation, you need to allow the installation of applications from “Verified Developers” in the system. Administrator rights are required for this.

2. Click the downloaded file with the .dmg extension with the left mouse button.

3. The installation wizard will open.

4. Drag the Vinteo Desktop icon to the Applications folder.

5. Launch Vinteo Desktop via “Launchpad” (you can also use “Finder” immediately).

6. In the warning window that appears, open “Finder”.

7. Launch VinteoDesktop via the context menu:

8. Allow the program to run by clicking the “Open” button.

The application will start.

9. Next, go to “Settings” → “Security & Privacy” → “Privacy” tab and grant Vinteo Desktop permission to use the camera, microphone, and screen recording while other applications are running.

10. If permissions were not granted, a security warning will appear with an option to go to its settings and perform the actions described above in step 9.

11. Restart the application. After restarting, Vinteo Desktop will operate normally.

Astra Linux Smolensk 1.6

1. Log in under an administrator account using “Privacy Level” – “0” and “High” – integrity level;
2. Download the *.run distribution from the Vinteo software download site: Download link. Right-click the file and select “Save link as…”, saving it to the “Downloads” directory;

3. Check the file execution permissions – right-click the downloaded file and check the “Execute” checkbox in the “Discretionary attributes”;

4. Start the installation by double-clicking the file;

5. Close the command line window after installation.
