Program Installation

The Windows distribution is available on the website at https://download.vinteo.com/VinteoClient/

The Vinteo Desktop application can be downloaded and installed from the Mac App Store: Vinteo Desktop

When the application icon is clicked, the application language can be selected in the settings at the top of the screen. Click the “Install” button.

Then open the application.

Next, click OK and allow the application access to the camera and microphone.

Configure the connection: in the “Connection address” field, enter the server address, and in the “Displayed name” field, enter the user name. The authorization checkbox can be enabled, or anonymous calls in the conference can be made.

1. double-click the downloaded file with the .exe extension with the left mouse button;

2. wait for the application installation to complete;

3. after successful installation, click the “Finish” button.

The installer must be run with administrator privileges using the following keys:

VinteoDesktop.exe /S

(/S must be capital.)

1. right-click the downloaded file with the *.Appimage extension;

2. in the application properties window that opens, check the checkbox to allow installation;

3. close the window and right-click the application again;

4. in the installation wizard that appears, click the “Yes” button;

5. run Vinteo Desktop.

1. before starting the installation, allow installation of applications from “Verified Developers” in the system (administrator rights are required);

2. click the downloaded file with the .dmg extension with the left mouse button;

3. the installation wizard will open;

4. drag the Vinteo Desktop icon to the Applications folder;

5. launch Vinteo Desktop via “Launchpad” (or immediately via “Finder”);

6. in the warning window that appears, open “Finder”;

7. launch VinteoDesktop via the context menu:

8. allow the program to run by clicking the “Open” button;

The application will start.

9. in “Settings” → “Security & Privacy” → “Privacy” tab, grant Vinteo Desktop permission to use the camera, microphone, and screen recording while other applications are running;

10. if permissions were not granted, a security warning will appear with an option to go to its settings and perform the actions described above in step 9;

11. restart the application — after restarting, Vinteo Desktop will operate normally.

1. Log in under an administrator account using “Privacy Level” – “0” and “High” – integrity level;
2. Download the *.run distribution from the Vinteo software download site: Download link. Right-click the file and select “Save link as…”, saving it to the “Downloads” directory;

3. Check the file execution permissions – right-click the downloaded file and check the “Execute” checkbox in the “Discretionary attributes”;

4. Start the installation by double-clicking the file;

5. Close the command line window after installation.
