Description
Vinteo Mobile is an application for connecting to video conferencing sessions over WebRTC, presenting content, sending and receiving video and audio, and displaying it on the mobile device screen.
User types and permissions
Vinteo Mobile implements a role-based access model. The application provides two user roles.
Subscriber
A subscriber is a user with an account on the Vinteo VCS server who has completed authorization and authentication.
Subscriber permissions
Calls and conferences
- receiving and making calls between server subscribers, including point-to-point calls;
- making calls to video conference rooms;
- group calling of participants to a conference;
- automatic connection to open conferences;
- connection to closed conferences (by invitation or PIN).
Media
- receiving video and audio streams;
- turning the microphone and camera on and off;
- switching between front and rear cameras;
- selecting the language audio track.
Contacts and profile
- creating and editing contacts and groups with server synchronization;
- configuring the user profile (name, avatar).

- automatic call initiation via

Anonymous
An anonymous user has no account on the Vinteo VCS server.

- controlling the camera and microphone;

- creating and editing local contacts and groups;
- configuring the user profile (name, avatar).
