Minimum Hardware Requirements
To equip a single client workstation, a personal computer is required that meets the following minimum requirements:
- processor: Intel Core i3 (8th generation) or equivalent;
- RAM: at least 4 GB;
- free disk space: 400 MB;
- color monitor with a minimum screen resolution of 1240×850;
- webcam with a minimum resolution of 720p;
- keyboard;
- mouse or other pointing device.
Minimum Software Requirements
The software used by the system must consist of licensed, localized versions of operating systems. To install and operate the subsystem, the following software is required:
- operating system (any);
- web browser: Mozilla Firefox version 3.0 or later, Chrome, Opera, Safari, Internet Explorer 11.
To participate in a conference, the computer must be equipped with a built-in or external webcam and microphone. Operation without a camera is possible in audio-only mode.
The network must not impose any restrictions on traffic exchange between the computer running Vinteo Desktop and the Vinteo video conferencing server using the following protocols and ports:
- TCP traffic to port 443 of the video conferencing server and return TCP packets from port 443 of the server;
- UDP traffic to the video conferencing server from the port range specified in the server settings for RTP (default: 20000–65000), and return UDP traffic from this port range from the server.
To ensure operation of the automatic update mechanism, access to the server download.vinteo.com via HTTPS (TCP, port 443) must be provided.
